Lincoln, NE – Abendmusik will present Johannes Brahms’ Requiem on Sunday, April 18th at 4:00p.m.at First-Plymouth Church, 20th and D Streets in Lincoln. This program will feature the Abendmusik Chorus, University Singers, and the Abendmusik Orchestra with William Shomos baritone and Jeni Houser, soprano. Tickets are $20 for Adults; $15 for Senior Citizens (age 62 and over) and $10 for Students (grade school through full-time college students.) Special rates are available for groups of ten or more. Following the concert a reception will feature an art exhibit featuring the work of Carl Avidano and friends in partnership with Half-to-Help, an initiative created to support earthquake survivors in Haiti.
Half of the net proceeds from art sales and 100% of free-will donations will go directly toHaiti relief via Action Against Hunger | ACF-USA.
