One-Night-Only—Haiti relief benefit in Roger Smith Hotel.
September 8, 2011
Manhattan, NY — Half-to-Help teamed up with the Roger Smith Hotel and Action Against Hunger | ACF-USA for a Haiti-relief art show and concert.
The benefit was held on the top floor of the Roger Smith Hotel, located at 501 Lexington Ave. in Manhattan. The Roger Smith Hotel is an art-hotel, known greatly for its role in supporting up-and-coming artists in the community.
One-Night-Only exhibited the artwork of Carl Avidano of Staten Island, NY, Lazarus Nazario and Shawn Taylor of Jersey City, NY.
The art show included musical performances from Margot Leverett and the Klezmer Mountain Boys—a renowned Klezmer band based out of Manhattan, NY; and Charlene Kaye, from Brooklyn, NY. FreakCast collaborated a live video performance and broadcasted the event live over the Internet.
Half of the net proceeds from art sales and 100% of suggested donations went directly to Action Against Hunger | ACF-USA for Haiti relief.

Meggie & Josh – we LOVE Louisville! Been there a few times for the AMAZING fekiworrs that kick off the whole Kentucky Derby – the best fekiworrs we have ever seen! Would love to go if you get a group (although you were probably thinking much younger people for your group??!!) Love to you both, your ‘favorite’ aunt-Brenda:)
