Biography

Street Photographer Shannon Claire was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Always having a camera in her hand since she could remember, Shannon has an eye to capture the beauty in something still, the darkness in something bright, and the moment in solitude we can let slip by.

It wasn’t until living in San Francisco, did she have the opportunity to find her true self and explore from behind the lens. Being an avid camera collector, she has found herself drawn to working and experimenting with classics like 35mm SLR's, Medium Format, and Polaroid Cameras.

Shannon has recently been chosen to participate in Prints for Haiti, another charitable organization to support Haiti relief efforts. Shannon is honored that her work can not only speak to an audience, but can lend help to those in need.
