Biography

Lincoln Nebraska photographer Cassie Tate is a mother of two small children and owns freelance company Firefly Photography by Cassie Tate.

Growing up in a small town outside the city, Cassie always enjoyed capturing the beauty of the world, whether on paper through drawing and watercolor painting, or on film.

Cassie's photography style captures the essence of both the art world and the real world. Taking the picture is only half (or less!) of the work. The real difference in her work is in the painstaking digital manipulations Cassie applies to each of her images. The result is vivid and strikingly unique.

Cassie enjoys being a participating artist to Half-to-Help, a group of artists from across the US donating half thier proceeds to charitable funds. Cassie has participated in two Half to Help shows, including a current month long exhibit.
